Delicious and soothing tea; perfect at the end of the day.Like it a lotI usually put sweeteners in my beverages but with this tea I don't need anything else. It has so much flavor that makes the teatime a total enjoyable experience. I love it and its perfect for giftting.I bought this tea at the end of Oct.2020 just to try it after reading some reviews on here. I have been struggling terribly this year with hormone related adult cystic acne breakouts that literally would not go away no matter what products I was trying (& I've been trying everything under the sun-changed my skincare routine, added skin vitamin supplements, collagen powder supplements, you name it), but sadly, nothing has worked. I can honestly say that THIS TEA IS LIKE A MIRACLE! For the first time since Feb. my skin (about 2-3 weeks in of drinking this tea) is almost clear & I have not had a re-breakout as of yet! I, (like some others on here) am only drinking 1 cup a day (1 teabag) as well (I actually put it in a 36oz. sports bottle, leave it in the fridge overnight & drink the whole thing throughout the next day). The taste is mild & pleasant, don't need to add any sweetener at all. Most importantly: IT WORKS! I'm gonna' need a lifetime supply now because I don't want to live without it! My skin is more moisturized, seems thicker (it was getting thin due to menopause), & is starting to have a healthy glow. OMG! THANK GOD FOR THIS TEA! I HOPE THEY NEVER STOP MAKING THIS!!!!! Nothing else (been taking collagen & skin supplements for like a year) has done what this tea has done for me. I'M SOLD. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE HAVE SKIN ISSUES OR GOING THROUGH HORMONE ISSUES!When I first got this in 2019 I drank one tea bag everyday for a while and my acne went away. I had no more breakouts and my skin wasn’t red anymore, but, the smell and taste is awful; I don’t remember how I could stand it, but I did, all for the sake of clear skin, and it worked, but when I stopped using it my acne came back again. I only stopped using it because the taste and smell were very unpleasant so I couldn’t handle it anymore. This is Red Rooibos yea and you can get other South African Red Rooibos tea, such as the one from the Numi tea brand, which is really good and smells better. There’s also organic Red Rooibos tea from the brand “David’s tea”. I would suggest Numi and David’s tea because the smell, taste and the quality are much better, and Numi really reduced the redness of my skin within the day I consume it. This might be different for you, but it’s how it is for me.Very good tea flavor but I've used for a month now and I do not feel there is any benefit for the skin.I want to begin by stating that I have struggled for over a decade with acne, and my skin has cleared up in just a week after buying this tea. However, I have made several other changes in my lifestyle, which I will mention at the bottom of this review.As for the tea, it is super healthy rooibos tea packed with other ingredients that are all good for you and your skin. Smart blending! The flavor is mildly sweet. I am a fan of chamomile, and it is the most noticeable flavor of this tea. I am wary of the natural flavor that is added, but it certainly is a good tasting tea and very mild. It is caffeine free and zero calories, so you can enjoy a relaxing cup any time of day or before bed to wind down.As for the other changes I have made, I also recently began using a prescription retinoid cream. I have only used it a couple of times, but I have consumed this tea every day for a week. I also have started using honey and lemon juice masks at home every few days. My pimples are GONE. It has probably been a combination of all three things that are clearing up my skin, but drinking more of this tea and less unhealthy drinks is a benefit on its own.If you are questioning whether to buy this tea or not, I say go for it. Even if it does not clear up your skin, then you still have a delicious zero calorie tea to enjoy.The flavor is pretty good, it's more on the fruity side which is new to my taste buds.I typically drink this in the morning and occasionally in the afternoon. After the first few days of drinking the tea, I started to notice that my skin looked more glowy and youthful. Keep in mind, i'm in my early 20's but my skin can typically be pretty dull and it's always dehydrated and naturally dry. I also didn't experience any break outs while drinking the tea either, which is definitely a new experience for me. Although I can't say for sure that this tea is a miracle worker, because i'm sure it only works in conjunction with actually taking great care of your skin.. I can say that it definitely contributes. After a week of drinking this daily, I took a few days off and what do you know? My face slowly started to look drier and some minor break outs appeared. I'm definitely going back to drinking this on the daily.I'm incredibly impressed with Republic of Tea.. Like honestly. Not only did shipping come faster than expected but they loaded my box with info and lots of free samples! Who doesn't love free samples? All the teas are delicious and most if not all of them are caffeine free which is an A+ in my book. I'm definitely going to repurchase. Yes, it can be a little bit more on the expensive side if you're used to drinking basic tea like Lipton, but with so many other teas on the market right now and with all their crazy claims, this one really does sit well with me.They also have a 'get lost' tea that i'm super interested in trying out, rather than buying to $40 + skinny teas.
